The Ringwood Educational Foundation presents the 5th annual

SHEPHERD'S LAKE 5 K

Saturday May 13th, 2006

The Ringwood Educational Foundation is proud to present our 6 th annual 5K Run and Family Fitness Walk to be held at beautiful Shepherd's Lake in Ringwood on May 13th, 2006. This year we are also happy to be including Kids' Dashes as part of our fun-filled event!  Proceeds from the 5K Run benefits the Ringwood Educational Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to enhancing and enriching the curriculum in the Ringwood K-8 public school system.

This event is a growing attraction for athletes in and around the area, drawing participants from most of northern New Jersey, from Orange and Rockland counties in New York, and from Connecticut as well.

We would like to offer you this opportunity to become an individual or corporate sponsor for this exciting event. Packages can be tailored to fit your unique corporate promotional needs. Platinum Package:   $1000


Includes: Name and logo prominently printed and in color for back of Race Day T-Shirt. Banner can be displayed at start/finish line. Promotional materials included in runners' goody bags. Listing on REF, Inc. website, name included on mile marker along race route, inclusion in pre-race advertising, news-releases, etc.

 

Gold Package:      $500

 

Includes: all of the above with the exception of pre-race advertising and news releases.

 

Silver Package:     $250

 

Includes: name and logo on race-day T-shirt in large, black & white print, exhibit table, promotional inserts in goody bags, listing on REF, Inc. website.

 

Bronze Package:   $150

The Ringwood Educational Foundation, Inc. has funded over $100,000 in grants to our public schools since we began. We can't do it without YOUR support!

 

The Ringwood Educational Foundation's mission is to enhance and enrich the public school curriculum through “mini-grants” awarded to teachers in our four public schools.

 

Through grant projects our students have been introduced to the Art and Culture of Native Americans, participated in a college bowl-style Literary Challenge, designed and built their own Dream Houses, learned about diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, and other health issues faced by their fellow students, raised ducklings, butterflies, and frogs, used new digital video editing equipment to record band concerts and other performances, scaled a new climbing wall in gym, investigated the structure and functions of DNA, and studied famous artists and experimented with their techniques.

 

 These are just a few of the many outstanding programs that would not be possible without YOUR help. Together, we can continue to work for our children's future.
